  • 5A Birthday to Remember

I highly recommend this Thai cookery course to anyone seeking a basic introduction to Thai cooking styles. The trip to the market was refreshing and provided a great insight into authentic ingredients. The cooking session was exceptionally well-organized and expertly guided, making the entire day smooth and enjoyable. This experience was even more special as it was a thoughtful birthday gift from a close friend. It was a fabulous day filled with learning, laughter, and delicious food, shared with lovely people who all enjoyed preparing, cooking, and savoring Thai cuisine together.

  • 5Thai cooking class

Fun and informative cooking class. Great to visit the local market before the class to have a greater understanding and appreciation of the ingredients resulting in a delicious and generous meal. Would definitely recommend.

  • 5Highly recommended to spend a memorable family time

Had a truly excellent time at this cooking school. We loved the local market where we were explained the vegetables, fish, herbs, sauces, spices and all the other ingredients we would use for our menu. The kitchen is open air in a gorgeous traditional wooden house. All the staff were so lovely and helpful, we felt spoiled. The food was amazingly good, I can’t wait to practice the recipes we learned. Piece of advice: have a very light breakfast as the dishes we prepare are large. Take-away boxes are available if you can’t finish your plate.

  • 5Great class!!

This experience was awesome! The course starts at the Hua Hin market where we learned about and shopped for the ingredients for our dishes and explored and tasted other local products. Then we headed to the culinary area school which was quaint and where we were completely hands on to make four dishes. We actually took Menu 2 which included red curry paste, red curry pork, papaya salad, chicken and cashew stir fry and mango and sticky rice. We were each given a recipe booklet and a certificate of completion at the end. Our instructor, Beau, spoke English very well and was an excellent teacher! My husband and I had a blast! We highly recommend!!

About Hua Hin

Hua Hin is an old Thai seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand, with a royal past, a night market, fishing piers and long beaches.

Hua Hin is a seaside town in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, on the west side of the Gulf of Thailand about 200 kilometres south of Bangkok. Thai royalty began building seaside palaces here in the 1920s, which gave the town its first fame as a resort, and Klai Kangwon Palace still stands nearby. The railway station, a Thai-style wooden building, dates from that era, and a fishing pier runs out beside the main beach.
