The vineyard is located at altitude (250-300 meters) and dominates the Mediterranean azure. In the background, the last foothills of the Alps and the Var valley can be seen. Today, Château de Bellet covers 13 hectares of vines and its average yield is 25 hl/hc. The vineyard is cultivated with the greatest respect for nature and the terroir, using organic farming. Château de Bellet accompanies the biggest occasions: the Versailles Summit (1982), the European Summit in Nice (2000), that of NATO (2005). It was recently served at the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene.

About Nice

Nice is the sunny capital of the French Riviera, where a palm-lined promenade curves along a blue bay and a pastel old town buzzes with markets.

The Promenade des Anglais follows the Baie des Anges for kilometres, with pebble beaches and the turquoise sea on one side and grand hotels on the other. Vieux Nice, the old town, is a maze of narrow lanes, Baroque churches and ochre façades, and the Cours Saleya hosts a flower and produce market.

Top-ranked sights in Nice: Promenade des Anglais, Eze, Nice Old Town (Vieux Nice).
