  2. Kamerlengo Fortress was built in the 15th century by the Venetians to defend Trogir from attacks by sea. Positioned at the edge of the old town, it played a key role in protecting the city and controlling maritime traffic. Today, the fortress offers stunning views of the Adriatic and is a popular venue for open-air events and concerts.

  3. St. Lawrence Cathedral, built between the 13th and 15th centuries, is the most important monument in Trogir. It is famous for the Romanesque portal carved by Master Radovan in 1240, one of the finest works of medieval art in Croatia. The cathedral reflects a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles and stands at the heart of the old town.

  4. Trogir Old Town is a beautifully preserved historic island located between the mainland and Čiovo. Its narrow stone streets reflect more than 2,000 years of continuous history, from ancient Greek times through Roman and Venetian rule. The town is protected by medieval walls and filled with palaces, churches, and charming squares. Due to its exceptional preservation, Trogir was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. About Trogir

Trogir is a walled island town on Croatia's Dalmatian coast, a World Heritage site of marble lanes, a Romanesque cathedral and a seafront fortress.

Trogir occupies a tiny island between the mainland and the larger island of Čiovo, joined to both by bridges, and its old centre is a tight maze of stone lanes, small squares and Romanesque and Renaissance buildings. Founded by Greek colonists in the 3rd century BC, the town later passed to Venice, which left its loggia, its palaces and the lion of St Mark. The Cathedral of St Lawrence has a richly carved portal by Master Radovan from the 13th century.
