Itinerary
The North Gate served as Trogir’s main land entrance, once protected by bridges and defensive walls. Nearby, the green market reflects centuries of daily trade and local life.
Dominating the main square, St Lawrence Cathedral is the town’s most important monument. The Romanesque Radovan Portal is famed for its expressive figures — can you spot scenes of medieval everyday life mixed with biblical symbolism?
John Paul II Square is the civic and ceremonial heart of Trogir. Here you’ll see the Town Hall, the Town Loggia, and Church of St Sebastian, each representing power, justice, and public life.
This stop focuses on narrow stone streets, hidden courtyards, and noble residences such as Palace Ćipiko. Away from the main square, guests experience how merchants, sailors, and noble families actually lived.
The tour ends along the Waterfront Promenade, where the old town opens to the Adriatic Sea. Enjoy views of the impressive Kamerlengo Fortress, built by the Venetians to control the harbor.

About Trogir
Trogir is a walled island town on Croatia's Dalmatian coast, a World Heritage site of marble lanes, a Romanesque cathedral and a seafront fortress.
Trogir occupies a tiny island between the mainland and the larger island of Čiovo, joined to both by bridges, and its old centre is a tight maze of stone lanes, small squares and Romanesque and Renaissance buildings. Founded by Greek colonists in the 3rd century BC, the town later passed to Venice, which left its loggia, its palaces and the lion of St Mark. The Cathedral of St Lawrence has a richly carved portal by Master Radovan from the 13th century.
