Itinerary
We will start the exciting tour of the 7 Lagoons of Ausangate with the pick up from your hotel in the city of Cusco from 4:00 am. Once in Pacchanta, we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast to recharge energy.
OTORONGO ORQUE LAGOON This small lagoon, because of its shape and landscape around, has the shape and fur (the spots) of an otorongo. The lagoon is located at 4,620 m.a.s.l. Its name refers to the male otorongo. The last of the 7 lagoons circuit, its name derives from the Quechua language meaning “blue coloration” because of the darkness of its waters. It is located 4,500 meters above sea level.

About Cusco
Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.
The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.
Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
