Itinerary
This fascinating tour begins with the pick-up service at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. Our journey will take us through the beautiful Sacred Valley, with Pisac as our first destination of the day. Along the way, we'll make a stop at an iconic spot known as the Sacred Valley Lookout, from where you can gaze upon the magnificence of the Sacred Valley and uncover the rich Inca history that surrounds it.
Next, we will visit the Pisac archaeological complex, located high on a mountain. This marvelous site consists of terraces and architectural structures scattered on the slopes and at the mountaintop, a wonderful blend of landscapes and constructions.
We will then head to the artisan market, where you can appreciate a wide variety of ancestral crafts.
We will pass through Urubamba, where we will pause for lunch. You will get to taste typical Peruvian cuisine, with a wide range of dishes, including salads, soups, main courses, the famous ceviche, and delicious desserts.
After lunch, we will visit the architectural complex of Ollantaytambo, a living village built to oversee the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from potential invaders. We will have the opportunity to walk through its streets and gain a clearer idea of how this place served as a military, religious, and cultural center during the Inca Empire.
Lastly, we will head to the picturesque village of Chinchero, where you can find the remains of Túpac Inca Yupanqui's royal estate. In the main square, you can see well-preserved Inca walls.
Finally, we'll return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 7:00 PM, dropping you off near the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.

3Not bad, but not great
You hit great spots, and the guide was great in all explanations and in getting ahead of traffic and arriving early. The cons are that there are too many strictly commercial stops. The last one adds an unnecessary 2 hours to trip only for you to be left alone in an awkward 30min experience when locals spend all the time pressuring you to buy anything with extremely high prices. Look for other tours that don’t include Chinchero. The van has no AC, seats don’t recline and very hard. So every minute at van was tiresome (in other tours, the moments on the van are really good to recharge)
5Nice Overview of the Sacred Valley
William was an excellent tour guide! He provided a lot of useful information and answered all of our questions. He also managed the logistics of everything very well. All of the sites were amazing, but Ollantaytambo was truly spectacular. It felt like we arrived at the perfect time of day and had plenty of time to explore the large and unique site.
5Sacred Valley
Silvia was a wonderful tour guide. She provided us with a lot of interesting information not only on the sites, but during the bus ride also.
5Incredible history
Adriel our guide was amazing! I’ve never seen someone so enthusiastic about the information he was sharing. He was funny and helpful and connected with the wide diversity of people on our tour. I feel very lucky he was our guide. There is a lot of driving time when you do all these sites in one day, but we used that time to learn more history. The Inca sites were truly remarkable and hearing about the labor involved in building them was pretty mindblowing.
5A fabulous trip to the Sacred Valley
A fabulous day trip from Cusco to the Sacred Valley. The guide was very knowledgeable and I was able to see several Inka heritage sights. Travelling on my own I felt very safe and included with the group. Thoroughly recommend.
5Well organized and great communication
This tour was a perfect fit for us as a couple because visiting Pisac was a priority. Among all the options, this was the only tour that departed from Cusco and stopped at Pisac first, which aligned perfectly with our plan to finish in Ollantaytambo and catch the 4:00+ pm train directly to Machu Picchu. Although this itinerary does not include the salt mines or the circular terraces, we did not feel it was a major loss. Instead, it allowed us to explore the Sacred Valley without backtracking, while also guaranteeing that we could work the next morning and enter Machu Picchu in the afternoon. The timing and connections were exceptionally well planned. Another highlight was having two guides on the same bus, one for the English-speaking group and one for the Spanish-speaking group. This meant we had more focused time listening to Silvia, whose explanations were rich in knowledge and experience. Her guiding truly enhanced the journey. We also really appreciated the company’s coordination. From order confirmation to pickup and drop-off details, Ebert—who communicated with us throughout—was highly responsive, clear, and professional. Every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly. Overall, while we inevitably missed a few sites and encountered less-than-perfect weather, those were not the company’s fault. On the contrary, it was their flexible options and professional planning that made it possible for us to truly experience Inca civilization and local culture firsthand. If we have the opportunity to return, we would absolutely choose this company again.

About Cusco
Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.
The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.
Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
