5Fun Pirate Museum
This is a really fun stop in downtown Savannah. It covers a lot of pirate history, as well as the local lore. They have a section on torture that comes with a warning incase you don’t want to bring young kids in there. They also have a kids section with legos and Pirates of the Caribbean. If you buy a ticket to the Prohibition museum too, you save a few dollars.
5We loved it!
The museum was great. There was a few interactive parts that the kids really loved. The bar was a fun experience too. The kids drinks come with a potion, and a cute little saying gets recited while it's being poured. The whole museum was definitely a fun time.
4Fun tour!
It’s a self guided tour. Lots of interesting information posted. Nicely done. Lots of detailed ship displays. Several videos that we liked.
1Save your money
This was a sad excuse to sell you a drink , sure they had wax figures But it was all about reading tiny little print Nothing new to see Save your money Same goes for the prohabition museum next door
5Such a fun experience!
Very informative and also fun! Lots of information I never knew about pirates in privateers. There is a lot of reading, but re-read it aloud to our youngest and she enjoyed it. The wax figures are very lifelike.
3Decent museum. It’s...
Decent museum. It’s small, but you get to see and learn about pirates. I had expected more or real treasure. They have a pirate bar. We finished this museum in under an hour.

About Savannah
Savannah is a Georgia coastal city of oak-shaded squares, Spanish moss, cobbled riverfront streets and beautifully kept Southern architecture.
Savannah was founded in 1733 by James Oglethorpe as the first city of the colony of Georgia, and he laid it out on a grid built around small public squares. Twenty-two of the squares survive, shaded by live oaks draped in Spanish moss and filled with fountains and monuments. Forsyth Park, with its white fountain, is the largest green space in the historic district, and the Cathedral of St John the Baptist rises with twin spires.
