  • 5Awesome Biking

It was awesome to ride along the vignard and the riding was safe. Amazing vista and great wine tasting and tour. The e-bikes made it even better!

  • 5An absolutely great (half) day

A wonderful “half-day” (we left the 2nd tasting at 5pm!). Bernadette was informative, knowledgeable and just generally fun. Newish e-bikes, including my Harley Davidson, made this a very enjoyable 25km ride. Chateau visit was superb. Great wines, good tour and excellent lunch in the vineyard. Definitely VFM. And thanks to all our group on the day. You made it even more enjoyable.

  • 5A superb tour

We had a fantastic time cycling around the beautiful scenery of Saint-Emilion. It was just the two of us with Bernadette, who was delightful and very knowledgeable. We visited the small Chateau La Rose Monturon, where Stefan passionately explained the highs and pitfalls of wine-making in a way that the large wineries don’t, giving a new insight into the process. The lunch was delicious and beautifully presented and I’d thoroughly recommend going to this chateau. Bernadette then took us to our final tasting in the town which was a convenient place to end our tour with her. The electric bikes were superb, making the routes uphill in 38 degrees heat easy! Thank you for a lovely day Bernadette; it was one of our highlights of our visit to France.

  • 5Amazing e-bike tour on brand new bikes.

This was a fabulous e-bike tour with Bernadette. She was so friendly and just happy to be showing us around the St.Emilion country side. The visit to Chateau Monturon and passionate tour with owner Stephen was excellent plus the picnic lunch his wife made up for us was wonderful (sorry did not catch her name). The bike tour itself, down numerous roads past many vine yards, was amazing. Highly recommend this tour.

About Saint-Émilion

Saint-Émilion is a medieval hilltop town east of Bordeaux, surrounded by World Heritage vineyards and built around a church carved from the rock.

Saint-Émilion climbs a limestone hillside in the Gironde, in the heart of one of France's most celebrated wine regions, and is named after a Breton monk who settled in a cave here in the eighth century. The town and its surrounding vineyards form a World Heritage landscape, and steep cobbled lanes link small squares and honey-coloured stone houses.
