Itinerary
We leave cusco with our own private transportation and head to the south of the city into the Southern Valley. We pass valleys, rivers, mountains and some smaller communities. Our starting point is already at 4900 meters above sea level. We hike uphill for about 45 minutes to the highest point of our excursion which is at 5000 meters. We pass the unique formations of the rainbow mountain range. The view at the snow-capped Ausangate mountain is breath-taking. Once we are on the top of our view point, we will have the Vilcanote Mountain range in front of us. You will have all the time to rest and to take pictures. Afterwards, we descent for about 30 minutes

About Cusco
Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.
The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.
Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
