Itinerary
Our adventure will begin with the pick-up from your hotel or the Plaza de Armas (depending on the location of your hotel). The pick up will be at 4:00 am to take course towards the south of Cusco towards the Qollasuyo. During the trip we will be accompanied by wonderful views of the Peruvian Andes as well as picturesque towns such as Checacupe which stands out for its beautiful colonial church and its bridge that still maintains Inca foundations. Other villages that we will cross during our trip of approximately three hours will be Pitumarka, Chilca to finally arrive at Pampachiri from where our walk will begin.
Already in Pampachiri our guide will give us some tips for our walk of approximately 4 hours of ascent to the mountains in which we will be experiencing changes in climate as we go up to reach the mountain "Vinicunca" or Rainbow mountain. During the journey we can appreciate the flora and fauna typical of the Andes such as vizcachas, eagles, lamas, alpacas, among others, such as the deer and puma that are rarely seen. Also on the way we will enjoy wonderful views as the mountains surrounding the road change color as we move until finally hit the Rainbow Mountain. Once here, if the weather is good, you will enjoy the first views of the Rainbow Mountain. At the summit, you will have the opportunity to rest for a while to catch your breath and admire the spectacular views.
We will then continue our return journey to our transport and travel for one hour back to Cusi Pata, where we will have a buffet lunch featuring typical Cusco dishes. Afterwards, we will continue our return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30–5:00 p.m.

About Cusco
Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.
The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.
Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
