A fairy tale walk that will guide you through a green paradise deep in Laurissilva Forest, until you reach a majestic waterfall. All the way the water is present, streaming down the rocks on the side of your path and into the Levadas, showing the islands capacity to gather the water from the rain and fog. This levada has its beginning in Queimadas guesthouse. The walk will be made along the levada (water channel) until Caldeirão Verde. About Funchal
Funchal is the capital of Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic, set on steep green hills with flower-filled gardens and a seafront old town.
Funchal spreads up a steep hillside above a natural harbour on Madeira's south coast.
