  • 5Must do - Pune guided tour

I was the only booked with my guide at my timeslot. The guide was amazing - so friendly and knowledgeable about Pune as he is born and raised there. He patiently answered any questions I had and explained in good detail. He navigated us through interesting streets, buildings, and markets and clearly explained the rich history of it all. The tour was definitely worth it - highly recommended!

  • 4Ole Pune walking tour- must try

On this walking tour I was the only traveler with the guide ( Sanket). He shared interesting trivia about all the places that we visited. He came across knowledge, professional and yet easy and accomodative. Being the only one in this tour, there was never a moment when I felt uncomfortable, infact he was accommodating my requests to stop for having local snacks as we were doing the tour. I would recommend this tour for those wanting to explore ole pune by foot. My suggestion would be to add local snacks like sabut Dana vadas, vada pav and the like to complete the experience.

  • 1The tour guide did not show up

I had a very disappointing experience with this walking tour. The guide never showed up at the meeting point, even though I arrived on time and waited for a long time. I tried calling several times and sent multiple messages, but there was absolutely no response. There was no explanation, no apology, and no attempt to contact me afterward

  • 5Enjoyable walking tour of Pune

I had a great time on this walking tour of Pune. The guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable, and it felt easy to ask questions along the way. He shared lots of interesting information without it ever feeling overwhelming. The walk was just over two hours, which was the perfect length—not too long and not rushed at all. What I really liked was that he went at my pace and never hurried me along, which made the whole experience really relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, it was a great all-round experience and a fun way to explore the city on foot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.

About Pune

Pune is a university city on the Deccan plateau in Maharashtra, with Maratha forts and palaces, hill views, old markets and a strong café culture.

Pune stands on the Deccan plateau where the Mula and Mutha rivers meet, about 560 metres above sea level, with the Western Ghats rising to the west. It was the seat of the Peshwas, the Maratha prime ministers, and Shaniwar Wada, their fortified palace of 1732, still has its great gate and gardens. The Aga Khan Palace, where Mahatma Gandhi was held in the 1940s, and the Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati temple are among the city's best-known sights.

Top-ranked sights in Pune: Khadakwasla Dam, Shree Narayani Dham, Laxmi Road.
