Together, we will start in the lower town area and slowly make our way through the upper town, travelling back in time as we proceed uphill to Saint Euphemia’s, as people used to during the ancient Holy Week procession. We are locals. We were born here. We live and breathe Rovinj at its purest. It does matter to us to present it in a genuine and true way. We will tell you where we would buy the best fruits and vegetables, where the best coffee is made, where the cakes are sublime and the gelato leaves you breathless. - We will be waiting for you at Pietra Ive street, just in front of the ww2 memorial (white, rectangular, slim structure). The monument is a landmark of the northern harbour and well visible from the food market.

About Rovinj
Rovinj is an Istrian fishing town on a small peninsula, with a hilltop church, Venetian-style houses and a coast of islets and pine forest.
Rovinj's old town stands on an oval peninsula, once an island, with narrow cobbled lanes winding up to the baroque church of St Euphemia, whose bell tower, modelled on St Mark's in Venice, rises above the sea. Pastel houses crowd around the harbour, and the Balbi Arch marks one of the old gates. Venice ruled the town for five centuries, and Italian remains in daily use beside Croatian.
