5Amazing sunrise and trekking experience
Great communication and organisation started my early morning sunrise trip to Kunjapuri. Manoj the main guide Sunil his assistant and our driver set off at 4.30 for an amazing 4 wheel drive up the mountain. After a short walk we reached the temple in plenty of time for a spectacular sunrise. A highlight of my trip. This was followed by a 13km trek down into the valley pass farms, villages, jungle and waterfalls. Manson and Sunil we amazing guides very helpful and supportive the whole way. This was an experience I will never forget.
5One amazing experience
This was my first guided trek in Himalayas. The pick up was on time, The guide Ankush was very knowledgeable about the terrain, Coming downhill from Kunjapuri is not for the faint hearted and it requires prior trekking experience, you experience one if amazing view of the green Himalayas ,there were certain patches which was narrow and requires caution, but Ankush gave prior notice , which helped me a lot, he wa s friendly and genuinely great guide. I highly recommend this trek if you have no knee issues and love exploring nature. Lastly, the sunrise at Kunjapuri temple was so beautiful , that will stick on to my memory for ever.
5Amazing sunrise and hike down
I highly encourage this tour! See the beauty, and get some exercise hiking down the mountain! It’s a bit steep, so use proper shoes with traction.
5First time in India, incredible temple and waterfall visit
Our guides were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. They picked us up early, kept a comfortable pace throughout the hike, and shared interesting information about the area along the way. Unfortunately, heavy fog limited the views during our visit, but that’s simply part of being in the mountains. You can hardly expect the guides to keep us on track AND control the weather! From breakfast to the waterfalls, the entire experience was outstanding. Easily an 11/10, and I’d happily do it again.

About Rishikesh
Rishikesh is a Himalayan foothill town where the Ganges leaves the mountains, known for yoga ashrams, suspension bridges and white-water rafting.
Rishikesh lies in Uttarakhand, where the Ganges runs fast and green out of the Himalayan foothills and onto the plains. It is a pilgrimage town as well as a centre for yoga and meditation. The Ram Jhula and other suspension footbridges cross the river between temples, cafés and ashrams, and the Beatles studied meditation at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ashram here in 1968; its weathered buildings stand in the forest today.
