During the visit, you will be able to see its Inca constructions and observe how the space was later integrated into the Convent of Santo Domingo.

    30 min

  2. Our next stop will be Sacsayhuamán, one of the most impressive archaeological complexes in Cusco. Their enormous stones, carefully fitted together, reveal the high level of knowledge of the Incas in engineering and construction. The site is located approximately 3,700 meters above sea level. The visit is done calmly, allowing you to enjoy the place and the guide's explanations.

  3. A few minutes from Sacsayhuamán is Q'enqo, an important Inca ceremonial center. The site has rock formations, passages, and carved spaces that reveal part of the religious and ritual practices carried out by the Incas.

    45 min

  4. Following through the mountains, we will reach Puka Pukara, an archaeological site that presents characteristics similar to a fortress. It is believed that the place fulfilled functions of control, surveillance, and support for travelers arriving in Cusco. Located approximately 3,700 meters above sea level, Puka Pukara also offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

  5. Tambomachay is one of the most interesting examples of Inca hydraulic engineering. The complex is formed by carefully constructed channels, aqueducts, and water fountains, demonstrating the Inca knowledge of natural resource utilization. The site is located approximately 3,800 meters above sea level.

    45 min

  6. At the end of the tour, we will make a special stop at Munay Wasi Farm, where you can get close to some of the most characteristic species of the Andes, such as llamas and Peruvian alpacas. About Cusco

Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.

The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.

Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
