These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. 18km of wooden footbridges and pathways gives you an opportunity to explore 16 interconnected lakes arranged in cascades. This heavily forested park hides 75 endemic plants,55 different species of orchids,160 bird species, and even bears and wolfs!

About Rovinj
Rovinj is an Istrian fishing town on a small peninsula, with a hilltop church, Venetian-style houses and a coast of islets and pine forest.
Rovinj's old town stands on an oval peninsula, once an island, with narrow cobbled lanes winding up to the baroque church of St Euphemia, whose bell tower, modelled on St Mark's in Venice, rises above the sea. Pastel houses crowd around the harbour, and the Balbi Arch marks one of the old gates. Venice ruled the town for five centuries, and Italian remains in daily use beside Croatian.
