Highlights

PADI eLearning lets you access the material for one year, plus gain unlimited access to an online version of the course manual. This takes away from the need for a classroom and can be completed where you feel most comfortable, either while on vacation or before leaving home. You can also complete it here starting the day before the course. Once you complete your eLearning you will have 2 mornings of confined water practice. Then, after confined water practice in the morning, you will go to do your open water dives in the afternoon. Over the two days, you will experience dives in some world-class dive sites including MUSA. MUSA (Underwater Museum of Art) is in the waters surrounding Cancun and Isla Mujeres and has over 500 life-size sculptures used to promote coral life. Within 3 days you can have your PADI Open Water Diver Course completed and start your adventures in diving.

  • 5PADI Scuba Diving with PocNa.

Myself and my 15yo son wanted to improve our diving skills and obtain a recognised qualification. PocNa came up as a PADI training centre on the island. Vanessa’s communications were excellent when we had to move the days due to illness. Ruben was a great instructor. His instruction was clear, he was patient, even when we struggled with some tasks, but above all he wanted us to succeed and have fun while we did it.

  • 5A great dive centre, well organised , friendly staff.

A very well organised dive centre, great staff, excellent equipment. I've dived all over the world and these guys are one of the best setups. I completed 2 days looking for Eagle Rays which we had on 2 wreck dives. Stunning to see them "Flying by". 2 great guides, Tico and Lalo. All the staff super friendly.

  • 5So magical

I had such an amazing time! Ruben was so patient and professional, he took such good care of us. Throughout the process everyone at pocna were so helpful and kind, making sure we had the best experience possible. We can’t wait to use all the skill we learnt in our future dives! Thank you Ruben and pocna!

  • 5Dive with Pocna! You won’t regret it!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to complete our PADI open water dive course with Pocna Dive Center. Our dive instructor Ruben was amazing. He was very patient with us. He is also very firm when ensuring that we understand the importance of safety. The whole staff was lively, smiling, and seemed to legitimately enjoy their work. The underwater museum was great! We got to see some rays, a nurse shark, and some turtles. Other folks on our boat got to see a Hammerhead shark! The whole experience was amazing. We definitely recommend Pocna Dive Center!

  • 5Fantastic ecperience and highly recommendation

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with this dive center. From the very beginning, booking my course was quick and uncomplicated and the communication was always smooth and friendly. A very special thanks goes to Ruben, who truly made all the difference in my diving journey. He took so much time for me, patiently guiding me through every step. I needed a bit longer with some parts of the training, but Ruben was always kind, encouraging and determined to find a solution that worked for me. He explained everything clearly and showed me more than once when needed. Thanks to his supportive approach, I was able to overcome my initial fears and gain real confidence underwater. In the end, I successfully completed my Scuba Diver certification and was able to fully enjoy the dives, even after some challenges. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor or a more positive experience. I highly recommend this dive school to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a professional, patient, and genuinely caring team that will make you feel safe and excited to dive! 🌊🤿

About Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres is a small Caribbean island off Cancún, with a calm town beach, a sculpture-dotted southern cliff and warm shallow water for snorkelling.

Isla Mujeres lies a few kilometres off the Yucatán coast opposite Cancún, a narrow island about seven kilometres long with the town at its northern end. The Spanish named it the Isle of Women in 1517 after finding clay figures of goddesses there. Golf carts and bicycles are the usual way to get around, and Playa Norte, a shallow beach of white sand and calm turquoise water, fronts the town.
