  • 5Excellent guide and driver - would do it again!

Tibo (driver) and Anne Sophie (guide) were fantastic! They did great with the children and kept them engaged while presenting the history of Pointe du Hoc, Omaha landings and the American cemetery with respect and due reverence. Both of them were very professional and informative while remaining very personable. They even recommended a local cafe and had lunch with us.

  • 5Going to Normandy in style

We felt like VIP. We were escorted by the driver to a hangar behind a secret door of the cruise terminal. The driver looked dashing in his suit which matched his spiffy Mercedes sedan. He supplied water and turned on his fancy lights that made the interior look like a nightclub. The driver was very eager to please, he even took us to his favorite restaurant where he was interpreting the menu for us. He spoke many languages beautifully. We were done with our D-Day Normandy tour in 5 hours. The first thing I would recommend for him is to have a sign with the clients name and not to wear cologne. I actually got car sick because I am sensitive to smells. Other than that, it was perfect!

  • 2Would not recommend

Limo too cramped for 6 people. Seats face each other with not enough room in between people. Air conditioning inadequate. Driver not friendly.

  • 5DDay Sights with excellent driver and Guide

Excellent tour. We were 6 people. We had Jlani as our driver and Sunny as our guide. Jlani made sure he picked us up on time and brought us to within steps of our stops. Sunny was passionate about DDay and the events. She explained and made sure we saw the important details. She had photos and directed us well. You would be lucky to share your day with them. Sunny chose a great place for lunch. Le Sapiniere. Wonderful woman owned restaurant with incredible food. Enjoy.

About Le Havre

Le Havre is a major port at the mouth of the Seine, rebuilt in concrete after the Second World War to plans by Auguste Perret and now UNESCO-listed.

Le Havre was founded in 1517 by King François I as a harbour on the Seine estuary and is still one of the main ports of France. Bombing in 1944 flattened the centre, and a team led by Auguste Perret rebuilt it in reinforced concrete on a grid of wide avenues, a modern town that is now a World Heritage site. Saint Joseph's Church, with a lantern tower more than a hundred metres high, anchors the skyline.

Top-ranked sights in Le Havre: Le Havre Cruise Port (Terminal Croisières Le Havre), André Malraux Museum of Modern Art (MuMa).
