Although holidays are a time to relax a lot of times we end up rushing to see all the beautiful places that our trip offers us. This is an opportunity to slow down, to take the time to truly relax and then enjoy fully all our holiday's experiences and life. About Terceira
Terceira is a volcanic island in the Azores, with the World Heritage town of Angra do Heroísmo, a lava-tube cave and fields bounded by stone walls.
Terceira lies in the central group of the Azores, an island of green pasture divided by black basalt walls. Angra do Heroísmo, the main town on the south coast, was once an important Atlantic port, and its old centre of pastel houses and churches is a UNESCO site. A fortress crowns Monte Brasil, the volcanic peninsula at its edge. Praia da Vitória, on the east coast, has the island's main sandy beach.
