5A good and informative excursion.
Moumen, the guide, is very thorough and professional.
5Great tour to see and learn a lot
Moumen was lovely and you can truly tell his love for the history of the area. We learned so much from him about all the things we saw. There is a good bit of walking and there are a lot of hills with significant inclines (mostly in Eze), so it might not be a good option if you have mobility issues.

Villefranche-sur-Mer is a small Riviera port on a deep natural harbour, with ochre houses above the quay, a citadel and a chapel painted by Cocteau.
Villefranche-sur-Mer climbs a steep hillside around a deep natural harbour just east of Nice, its ochre and pink houses stacked above the quay. The town was founded in 1295 by the Count of Provence, and the sixteenth-century Citadelle Saint-Elme still guards the water, with the town hall and small museums inside. The Rue Obscure, a vaulted medieval passage running under the houses, is one of the oldest streets in town.
