5A wonderful tour with a wonderful guide
Guide Mustafa and driver Ishmael arrived promptly in a clean, air conditioned vehicle. We enjoyed the tour and learning all about the gardens, the mosque, and the spices at the Souk. Mustafa is very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Ishmael drove very safely in crazy traffic. We would definitely recommend them.
4Marrakech walking tour
Useful orientation tour on first full day, doing lots of the souk in paticular. Bahia palace was also worth the visit, and especially the Yves St Laurent garden.
5Marrakech City Private tour: A Must Do
Our guide (Youness) for our half day tour was fantastic. His English & French was great: he was very informative about the local history, customs, etc. He showed us which dates to buy which was reflected in their gorgeous taste: He showed a shop to get genuine certified argan oil and other products. There was no pressure to buy if one didn’t want to .The souks were terrific as well as getting a crash course in the roadway madness. We certainly had a much better perspective on where we were staying in the old city & where we needed to explore ourselves without getting lost: praise be to Google Maps! No downside to our tour we can think of. We are visiting here in mid-September ( it has got up to 40c here: nearly always a breeze & we adjusted as needed to the daily weather). We rate this private tour a solid 5 out of 5; great value for money via Viator, again. Do we recommend this to our fellow travellers: a solid YES! Thanks for reading our review, GreyNomads.
5Fabulous
Muhammad was the best tour guide, he was very informative and accommodating We saw beautiful areas of Marrakesh The gardens were spectacular
5Highly recommend this tour
So glad we chose this private tour! Our guide, Mobarak, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We asked for advice about visiting Madrasa Ben Youssef on our own, as it wasn’t included in the official itinerary, and he immediately offered to take us during the tour if time allowed. And luckily, time did allow, as we probably would’ve gotten lost trying to find it, and his connections allowed us to skip the long ticket booth queue. (He seems to know everyone in the city!) We’re also grateful for his help in finding all the cool, shaded alleys, given the 40-degree heat. Our driver, Ismail, was also fantastic and super efficient.
5Our Guide was an...
Our Guide was an experienced one , picked us up from our hotel and stayed with us the whole time. He knows the history of the area inside and out. His English was perfect . We did appreciate the extra time spent explaining all the trades in the old city and offered to stay longer if we wanted to explore more .

About Marrakech
At the foot of the Atlas Mountains, red-walled Marrakech is famed for its maze-like medina, lively main square and tranquil riads and gardens.
Jemaa el-Fnaa, the great square at the centre of the medina, changes character through the day, from juice sellers and snake charmers in the morning to smoke-wreathed food stalls and musicians after dark. The minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque rises nearby as the city's landmark, and the souks spread north in a warren of lanes selling leather, lanterns, carpets and spices.
Top-ranked sights in Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Tizi-n'Tichka Pass, Jemaa el-Fna (Djemaa el-Fna).
