5A Sweet and Memorable Experience in Lyon!
What a wonderful experience! We absolutely loved our private pastry-making class with a French chef in Lyon. Our chef was incredibly kind, funny, and welcoming, making the entire experience both fun and memorable. We enjoyed learning the art of French pastry while sharing plenty of laughs along the way. It was such a unique and personal way to experience French culture, and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Lyon. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting!
5Learn how to make and use and make French pralines
What a fun 3 hours! Chef Lyon is very entertaining and kind. He stepped us through making 3 desserts-pralines, cookies and a tart. He made it easy to follow and fun to participate in.
5Oh Wow - you have to do this.
Oh Wow - what a great experience. We made very tasty classic Lyonnaise pralines, some delicious cookies and a regional tart. I learned some little pastry tricks, a new dough that is clever and delicious and had a great time. The chef is high energy and has a good sense of humor. He is also encouraging to everyone and helps those unsure of themselves so they keep up and have a good result. Great time !

About Lyon
Lyon, where the Rhône and Saône meet, is a Roman and Renaissance city of covered passageways, long called the capital of French cooking.
Lyon spreads across two rivers and two hills. On Fourvière hill, the white basilica looks down over the Roman theatres of Lugdunum, once the capital of Gaul, while the Renaissance old town below has narrow streets and covered passageways, the traboules, that silk workers used to carry cloth. The old town and the slopes of Croix-Rousse, the silk weavers' hill, are part of the UNESCO-listed historic site.
Top-ranked sights in Lyon: Old Lyon (Vieux Lyon), Traboules of Lyon, Lyon Cathedral (Cathédrale St-Jean).
