5Above & beyond!
Had a great experience with ‘Lino Lil’ our driver, could talk the hind leg off a dog, cat, chicken, cockerel or a banana!! Honestly a mine of information in this guy’s head, felt like a true local who knew roads other companies wouldn’t dare to use! Thanks for today Lino!!
5Eddie n Pedro were amazing.
What an amazing addition to our holiday in Madeira. We did the 'Craters of Fire' and the 'Madeira Peaks' Open top 4x4 excursions. We cannot praise Eddie (aka Jesus) and Pedro for their unlimited knowledge of the island. No question was unanswered. We left with a mind full of information and above all a great experience on both days. We have friends visiting later in the year and will definitely recommend you to them. Thank you again for making our holiday experience complete.
5A perfect trip with a great guide
We had a very nice tour to the north east of the island. We stopped on a couple of attractions and view points, besides the overall impressive nature my personal highlights were the portions that we drove off road and also the visit of a rum distillery. Our guide and driver Duarte did a fantastic job…he explained a lot, so the trip was entertaining and we got some good knowledge on a lot of things too
5Awesome Full Day Experience!
Filipe was an incredible tour guide. We felt like precious cargo and engaged the entire time. His shared historical nuggets along the journey that truly gave us a sense of the islands’ culture. I highly recommend Green Devil 4x4 - ask for Filipe!
5A good day out, a good...
A good day out, a good local driver/guide with lots of knowledge and enthusiasm. The trip was nice with just a small group, so it always felt personal. The only negative was the weather at the top of the mountain, but this was outside of anyone’s control.
5Good trip
It was a good trip. Went through beautiful places. But the car broke down just about 1km from the last stop, but they were weary quick to send another car to finnsh the tour

About Funchal
Funchal is the capital of Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic, set on steep green hills with flower-filled gardens and a seafront old town.
Funchal spreads up a steep hillside above a natural harbour on Madeira's south coast. The old town, the Zona Velha, has narrow lanes with painted doors and small restaurants, and the cathedral dates from around 1500. The Mercado dos Lavradores sells tropical fruit, fish and flowers in a hall decorated with blue tiles. A cable car climbs from the harbourfront to Monte, high above.
Top-ranked sights in Funchal: Sé Cathedral of Funchal, Church of Our Lady of Monte (Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Monte), Madeira Botanical Gardens.
