We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco between 4pm and 5pm, from where we will start our adventure to the Humantay Lagoon with a 3.5 hour drive to Soraypampa, which is the starting point of the hike. In Soraypampa we will have a breakfast, before starting our trek. It is a 1.5 hour hike to the lagoon, and is more than worth it when you see the magical view. The hiking route ascend 80% of the way while the rest of the hike is plan. We will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy its beautiful surroundings. After some free time and a guided tour, we will start our descent to Soraypampa, which is a lot easier than the way up. In Soraypampa lunch is awaiting us and after some rest, we will return to Cusco where we will arrive around 5.30pm at Plaza Regocijo.

About Cusco

Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.

The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.

Top-ranked sights in Cusco: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo Ruins.
