4Enjoyable trip
The Historical Algarve trip was very interesting. We were able to see several places in one day and our guide Johnny was excellent. He was very informative and friendly. The only issue was that the air-conditioning in the vehicle did not work and given it was over 30 degrees it was quite uncomfortable.
5Historical Algarve sites.
Our driver and guide Jonny had a great sense of humour and gave the group plenty of detailed information regarding all our places of interest.
5Great day out
Really enjoyed this trip Paulo/Pablo? Was very interesting and gave us a lot of interesting information about Portugal. We went to Lagos, Silvas and to the western most end of Europe which was very windy but had lovely cliffs. Would highly recommend Alsafari
1Last minute cancel messed up our trip
We got a message at 9pm the night before that the trip was cancelled because not enough people signed up. They should have given us at least 24 hr. Notice (like we have to do for them) so we could make other plans. We then had to figure out what to do the day of which wasted the day and was too late to make reservations for other activities.
2This was a ...
This was a disappointing tour! A lot of driving but not enough time for having a look around the sites and towns. A 90 minute lunch stop at a shabby roadside cafe added to the time management issues. The whole thing needs to be changed to maximise time. They should drop people in Lagos for at least 2 hours so that people could have lunch or choose to spend more time seeing the sites. There was not enough time to see the castle and have a good look around Silves. Too many miles covered to be able to properly enjoy each place
5A look historical Algarve and more.
We well informed by Jonny, who was both the guide and driver. He not only took us to several historic places but also provided interesting information regarding the Algarve. There was a stop for lunch, costing 22 Euros, which was well worth it. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

About Albufeira
Albufeira is a former fishing town on Portugal's Algarve coast, with whitewashed old streets, sandy coves below red cliffs and a long summer season.
Albufeira was a fishing town under Moorish rule, its name coming from the Arabic for a lagoon, and its old town still climbs a hill above the water in a tangle of whitewashed alleys and arches. A tunnel leads down to the Fishermen's Beach, where boats once landed their catch, and the clock tower and parish church stand in the centre.
Top-ranked sights in Albufeira: Praia de São Rafael, Praia da Coelha, Praia Gale.
