  • 5Great horse riding excursion close to San Miguel, yet felt like a world away : )

We all had a great time and would not only recommend, but also plan to go again ! Close to San Miguel, yet feels like a world away. Our group consisted of adults with varying degrees of riding experiences - from never been on a horse ... to learner riders... to experienced rider.... Rodrigo & his crew were friendly & attentive - the horses were some of the best "rent horses" we've encountered. We did the half day excursion .... rode thru beautiful canyons along a winding river, up mountain trails to the top of the ravine - the views & cliffside are stunning !

  • 5Wonderful adventure!

We loved our guide Frederico ! And our caballeros! We had so much fun and it was beautiful in the canyon and on the ridge. Riding through clouds of butterflies, trotting through rivers and being guided by the songs and whistling of our guides. Thank you!!

  • 5Fantastic Canyon Horseback Adventure

Absolutely the BEST horseback riding tour we have ever taken anywhere. Gorgeous scenery, great setup, terrific lunch before heading out on a 2.5 hour afternoon ride up into the canyon and cliffs. Federico was a fantastic guide and photographer. His cowboys were also very impressive. Highly recommend this tour with Coyote Canyon Adventures! Be prepared to possibly get wet when fording the river...

Stunning scenery, excellent vaqueros and horses, friendly and informative guide, delicious lunch— all of it combined made this the best trail ride I have ever taken, and I have my own horses at home. A truly authentic Mexican cultural experience that should not be missed!

  • 5An amazing horseback riding experience!!

Our tour guide Monique was exceptional! She was very knowledgeable and made our tour wonderful. The ranch hands were great too! The 2 and 1/2 ride was so much fun. We even got to run the horses through those beautiful trails. It was a blast! The views were spectacular going up, and once we reached the top, it was so beautiful to see it all from up there! Coming down the trails was just as fun. Once we were back down, a delicious homemade meal was awaiting us. Everything was just top notch. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to all! Thank you 😊

About San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is a colonial hill town in Mexico's central highlands, with a pink-stone church, cobbled streets, galleries and an art school.

San Miguel de Allende sits at about 1,900 metres in the Bajío highlands of Guanajuato, a town of cobbled streets and painted colonial houses built when silver and trade made the region rich. The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with its pink sandstone spires, dominates the Jardín, the main square. The town takes the second half of its name from Ignacio Allende, a leader of the independence movement born here, and the historic centre is a World Heritage site.
