Itinerary
Here we begin your adventure through the Sintra mountain, at the first stop we go to Miradouro da Vigia, the place where the queen and the royal family watched the construction of the Pena Palace. It is also possible to see the Castelo dos Mouros and the Castelo dos Gregórios. There we will tell you a little more about the story.
Here we are at our second stop, Fonte da Sabuga, here we find one of the best waters on the mountain, we stop to fill your bottle and then continue the tour. Here we also have a beautiful view of the Sintra National Palace, in the center of the village. It's a beautiful place for a photo.
Our third stop, here we are at one of Sintra Palace, Familia Biester. The monument has been a place of inspiration for writers and poets and the film "9 gate" was also filmed there. At this stop we also have a beautiful view of the Castelo dos Mouros from the top of the mountain.
We arrived at our fourth stop, the most visited monument in Portugal, the Pena Palace. It stands out at the top of the mountain with its exuberant colors of yellow, red and gray. We see it from a few points along the route and we also pass through the lake region, in the Palace garden, where from the outside we can see this part of the inside. We can leave it at the palace for a visit and then meet up to continue the tour (tickets not included)
Our fifth and penultimate stop, Quinta da Regaleira, the most mystical monument in Sintra. With unique architecture, full of Masonic influences, it is one of the most visited places in Sintra. It is where the Initiatory well is located where several rituals took place. We can leave you there for a visit and then we will meet to finish the tour (tickets not included)
And here we end our tour, our fifth stop is in the historic center. Here is where we find the Piriquita cafe where there are the famous travesseiro, a typical Sintra sweet. I hope to see you soon.

About Sintra
Sintra is a hill town west of Lisbon, wrapped in misty forest and crowned by a Moorish castle, a colourful Romantic palace and mysterious gardens.
Sintra is a UNESCO-listed cultural landscape on the Serra de Sintra, a granite ridge that catches Atlantic mist and keeps the hills green and cool. Portuguese kings and nobles built summer palaces here. The Pena Palace, a painted fantasy of yellow and red towers, sits on the highest hill, while the Moorish Castle's walls climb the ridge nearby, and the old centre has the Sintra National Palace, recognisable by its two conical chimneys.
Top-ranked sights in Sintra: Quinta da Regaleira, Convent of the Capuchos.
