5Notre-Dame Was the Highlight
My partner and I had been to Paris before, but this was our first time visiting during a cruise stop. We wanted something that would let us see some of the major sights without trying to organize everything ourselves. The journey from Le Havre was comfortable, and having someone else handle the transportation made the day much easier. Our English-speaking guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but also gave us some quiet time to enjoy the places ourselves. Notre-Dame was a special part of the visit. There is something different about seeing such a famous landmark in person after having seen it in photographs for years. We also really enjoyed the Seine river cruise. It gave us a completely different view of Paris and was a nice break from walking. The return to the ship was handled well, which was probably our biggest concern before booking. We never felt rushed at the end of the day. A memorable experience and a good way to see Paris from a cruise port
5A Great Way to See Paris from the Cruise
We wanted to make the most of our cruise stop in Le Havre, and this full-day Paris excursion gave our family a chance to see a lot without having to figure everything out ourselves. The journey from the port was comfortable, and having the transportation arranged made the day much easier, especially with children. Paris was exactly what we hoped for. We enjoyed seeing the Eiffel Tower, the historic areas, and some of the famous landmarks we had only seen in photos. The pace worked well for our family because we could enjoy the sights without feeling like we were constantly rushing from one place to another. The guide also added useful historical information along the way without turning the day into a long lecture. It felt like a good balance between sightseeing, learning, and having some free time. For a cruise passenger with limited time, having everything organized made a big difference.
5A Lovely Day in Paris Together
My partner and I had been to France before, but this was our first time visiting Paris from a cruise port. We knew the distance from Le Havre meant we needed an organized day, so having transportation arranged from the port made things much easier. The guide was knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and we appreciated being able to ask questions along the way. Paris was obviously the highlight, and we enjoyed seeing the famous landmarks while also having some moments to simply walk around together. The vehicle was air-conditioned and comfortable, which mattered after spending several hours sightseeing. The return arrangements were also reassuring because we didn't want to take any chances with the ship's departure time. It was a full day and there was a lot to see, but for us it was a memorable part of the cruise.
5V were picked up from...
V were picked up from port it took us around 2.5 hrs to reach to paris. We made 4 stops in paris. 1st one was Eiffel tower view from trocadero which was good spot for picture and view. Then v went to arch of triumph for few mins and then stop for one hour at notre dam. Then there Was a boat tour of paris, that was fun. Then return to our port in bus. Guide was fine.
5Great Family Day Out
We were a family group with different ages, so keeping everyone interested for a full day wasn't always going to be easy. Fortunately, the excursion gave us a good balance between guided sightseeing and time to enjoy Paris ourselves. The pickup and drop-off at the cruise port were convenient, and the air-conditioned vehicle was appreciated after walking around the city. Our guide was friendly and explained the history and sights in a way that worked for both adults and younger members of our group. We took plenty of family photos and had time to enjoy the atmosphere of Paris rather than spending every minute following a strict schedule. The biggest thing for us was knowing that the return was planned around the ship's departure. That took away a lot of the stress. We came back tired, but very happy with the day.
5Paris With Good Friends and Lots of Photos
We were a group of friends on a cruise and wanted something more memorable than spending the entire port day in Le Havre. Paris seemed like the obvious choice, although we were slightly worried about the travel time. The journey was comfortable and the day was organized efficiently. Our guide gave us plenty of interesting information but also allowed us time to enjoy ourselves, take photos and walk around. That balance suited our group perfectly. We probably took far too many pictures, but that's part of the fun of visiting Paris for the first time. The transportation back to Le Havre was another positive because we didn't have to worry about figuring out trains or taxis at the end of a long sightseeing day. A busy day, definitely, but one we all agreed was worth doing.

About Le Havre
Le Havre is a major port at the mouth of the Seine, rebuilt in concrete after the Second World War to plans by Auguste Perret and now UNESCO-listed.
Le Havre was founded in 1517 by King François I as a harbour on the Seine estuary and is still one of the main ports of France. Bombing in 1944 flattened the centre, and a team led by Auguste Perret rebuilt it in reinforced concrete on a grid of wide avenues, a modern town that is now a World Heritage site. Saint Joseph's Church, with a lantern tower more than a hundred metres high, anchors the skyline.
