Itinerary

  1. Visit un-touristic Khao Tao Village with its fishing harbor and boats. Wat Tham Khao Tao, on the north side of the hill, has quite a bit of Buddhist and other statuary in a concrete 'cave' in front of a small real cave.

    1 hAdmission included

  2. Khao Tao is in beautiful surroundings, only fourteen kilometers south of Hua Hin, which has a long stretch of beautiful beach of the same name. Although on the up rise, this little gem is still a tranquil place with a lot to offer. Khao Tao Village keeps its profile as a peaceful fishing village surrounded by many interesting tourist attractions. Khao Tao was the first reservoir in Thailand, developed as a Royal Project. It is a tiny seaside village, perfect for those seeking a peaceful weekend experience and the hospitality of Thai fishing village life. See sweet water lake with a shrine of King Rama9

    15 min

  3. Rajabhakti Park is a historically themed park honoring past Thai kings from the Sukhothai period to the current royal house of Chakri.

    30 minAdmission included

  4. Baan Sillapin Artists Village is Hua Hin's original arts centre and includes large galleries of arts and antiques, artist studios, a coffee and gift shop

    30 minAdmission included

  5. On the mountain Khao Hin Lek Fai (Flintstone Hill also) with a height of 162 meters three kilometers from Hua hin town is a complex of six viewing platforms connected by walkways and bridges. It is believed that this is the best lookout of the city. Indeed, it offers the widest view of the coast and city, although to call it an incredibly scenic it is difficult, because it is just a city by the sea. However, the place is definitely worthy of a visit.

About Hua Hin

Hua Hin is an old Thai seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand, with a royal past, a night market, fishing piers and long beaches.

Hua Hin is a seaside town in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, on the west side of the Gulf of Thailand about 200 kilometres south of Bangkok. Thai royalty began building seaside palaces here in the 1920s, which gave the town its first fame as a resort, and Klai Kangwon Palace still stands nearby. The railway station, a Thai-style wooden building, dates from that era, and a fishing pier runs out beside the main beach.
