Itinerary
Your guide will meet you at the meeting point. Our first stop will take us into the world's largest captive giant panda base. We'll take the electric sightseeing shuttle to the adult giant panda villas, the panda birthing rooms, and the red panda activity areas, where we can observe the daily lives of these black-and-white wonders.
We will take a boat cruise to admire the world's largest stone-carved Buddha—the Leshan Giant Buddha—from the river. The cruise lasts about 30–40 minutes and passes several prime viewing spots, including the front of the Giant Buddha, Lingyun Mountain, and the Reclining Buddha, offering a full view of the 71-meter-tall statue. (Special note: If boat tickets are sold out or the cruise is canceled due to low water levels, we will instead visit the Giant Buddha on foot, trekking up to this thousand-year-old wonder.)
Next, we will embark on a wonderful culinary journey. Your guide will accompany you as we wander through the streets and alleys, tasting Leshan's famous delicacies: Bobo Chicken (skewers in spicy red oil), Tofu Pudding (savory or sweet), Sweet-Skin Duck, and more — immersing ourselves in the lively local atmosphere.
