Travelling along the scenic seashore, you will see numerous memorials that keep the memory of the Battle of Normandy and its heroes alive, such as the remnants of one of the old artificial Mulberry harbour, the Memorial Royal Engineers and the D-Day 75 Garden.
At Arromanches 360 Circular Cinema you will see real WWII footage that illustrates the sheer magnitude of the Allied invasion. We provide skip-the-line tickets for the movie so that you can contemplate the emotional experience without having to wait in long lines with other tourists. The next stop will be the preserved WWII coastal defenses, Longues-sur-Mer battery, with huge gun installations built by the Germans to defend France from sea invasion. Further along the Omaha Beach you will visit the American Cemetery and Memorial - the Garden of the Missing. Here, you will discover the stories of the American heroes who fought for the liberalization of Western Europe. Along the now quiet beach you will see more monuments, sculptures and bunkers and have some free time for a lunch break or to sightsee on your own.
