5Everyone should experience this
The boat held 6 people which was perfect, the snorkeling was good and the beach was good. It was a full day but the scenery was great and the crystal clear water was exceptional. The boat captain, Christopher was great, explaining all the history and the birds, sea lions, the rock formations takes your breath away.
5Dolphin Show at Coronado Island
Very nice ride, and had exceptional experience with dozens of dolphins playing with the boat!!! Stopping at the gorgeous Coronado Islands wonderful!
5A wonderful day trip
Yesterday I went on a group tour around Coronado Island with Wild Loreto. The whole trip was relaxing and beautiful, but the absolute thrill for me was watching dolphins playing in the wake of our boat--incredible. El capitán knew how to drive the boat so the dolphins would join the fun. Our guides were capable, super friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Also, I was on my own, and they allowed me to book as a single traveler, along with 4 couples who had booked together. Other tours would only allow bookings for 2 adults, which is unfair to solo travelers.
1The tour operator was a no-show
They may let you know late afternoon the day before that you have no trip. That’s what they did to me only I didn’t get their email until I’m waiting for them to pick me up at 9 AM. Very unreliable tour operator!
5Great responsible service
WildLoreto is great to work with. My second trip with them. Responsible! Well-organized! No Worries!!! Staff txts and calls to ensure pickup time, location. Drivers, boat captains, email staff etc are polite and helpful. Boat captains follow best practices re: regulations abt safe distances from whales and other marine life. Captain Abraham and group kindly helped me get in and out of boat despite shoulder problems and overweight.
5Great tour, basic ham and American cheese sandwich lunch
Coronado was beautiful. Our guide was Christopher and he was friendly and knowledgeable and while we weren’t too lucky with seeing dolphins or that many blue footed boobies, we saw plenty of seals. We didn’t snorkel cause it was pretty chilly without a wetsuit, but it was fun to walk around the island and wade around knee deep in the very blue water. It was easy to spot some small fish even at that depth. The boat ride was easy and the boat was nice and clean and comfortable. I just wish the lunch was better than a very basic one slice of ham and American cheese sandwich with chips and Kellogg bar. But they did supply beer, water, and soft drinks. Oh and there is a big decent outhouse style toilet (BYO TP) on the island they forget to tell you about til you get there.

About Loreto
Loreto is a small town on the Sea of Cortez in Baja California Sur, with the first permanent mission of the Californias and a marine park offshore.
Loreto sits on the Gulf of California, also called the Sea of Cortez, on the eastern coast of the Baja California peninsula, below the Sierra de la Giganta mountains. In 1697 Jesuit missionaries founded the mission of Nuestra Señora de Loreto here, the first permanent mission in the Californias, and the town was the capital of the Spanish territory for decades. The stone mission church and its museum stand in the old centre.
