4. We'll end this magnificent day in the "jewel" of the Côte d'Azur, the village of St Paul. This 12th-century hilltop village also boasts exceptional panoramic views. It owes its fame to the fact that it was a resort for the many painters who settled on the Côte d'Azur, such as Picasso, Chagall, Matisse and Renoir, who came to find inspiration in this sunny environment.
