  • 5wonderfull dessert stay

We had a wonderful stay in te dessert! We stayed for 2 nights and did a dessert jeep tour the second day. The tents were confortable, the food was good, the staff was very friendly. We played in the sand, relaxed and enjoyed the silence and the beautiful sand dunes. We would love to come back one time!

  • 5Good a travel trip with addi

addi was fantastic and even met us in merzouga the first day. Very very flexible reflecting our desires but showed us many out of the way places that were historic, interesting, hard to find and not crowded. He allowed us to see and experience. His car was incredible comfortable and took photos so everyone was in the picture. He helped us with some of the logistics. He spoke clear English and we would definitely hire him again.

  • 5Desert Trip with Iddir

While everything was a little hurried, all the stops were well organzied and visually astonishing. Stops for pictures and tours were really good. We were surprised how many stops we made on the way but they were all more than Worth it. The best Part was obviously the desert with the camel ride. It was really amazing and surprisingly comfortable. Our guide Iddir was great. He even managed to bring a cake to the desert for one of your Group members and he had great connections to local guides along the way. Our driver Abdul was the funniest Morrocan we met on Our Trip.

About Merzouga

Merzouga is a village at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Morocco's Sahara, where camel treks and desert camps head out among tall golden dunes.

Merzouga lies in the south-east of Morocco, not far from the Algerian border, at the edge of Erg Chebbi, a sea of orange dunes that rise as high as about 150 metres. The village is a scatter of flat-roofed mud-brick and concrete houses, with guesthouses and kasbah-style hotels set along the dune edge. The surrounding landscape is stony desert, scattered with oases and dry riverbeds.

Top-ranked sights in Merzouga: Lake Dayet Sriji (Lake of Merzouga).
