Itinerary

  1. The Blue Cave or Blue Grotto or Modra špilja is a splendorous and unique geomorphological natural wonder on the Croatian Adriatic located in a bay of Balun on the island of Biševo. A hypnotizing silver-blue light illuminates the space inside the cave when the sunlight hits the surface of the ocean through a crack or vault (natural opening) on its arched roof and reflects off the seabed.

    1 h

  2. Stiniva Beach (also referred to as Stiniva Bay or Stiniva Cove) on Vis island is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia and not to be missed during your visit! A secluded turquoise cove with pebbly shores and surrounding verdant cliffs are just some of the reasons why Stiniva Beach was rated Europe’s Best Beach in 2019.

    30 min

  3. The cave on the island of Ravnik is well known as a Green Cave. It is a cave formed by means of abrasion with two entrances and an aperture on the top through which light enters reflecting colors from the sea bottom painting its walls green. In the period of the Second World Ware, smaller warships also found shelter here.

    30 min

  4. Even though we like to call them “blue lagoons”, the color of the sea inside the Budikovac lagoon is closer to beautiful turquoise, constantly changing shades as the sun moves on the horizon above. Budikovac island is situated on the SE side of the island Vis and its lagoon is formed by Budikovac island and two little islands called “small Budikovac” and “Sanak” located just outside the main beach of island Budikovac. Its crystal clear sea is the perfect stage for some underwater photography and selfies to share with your friends.

    30 min

  5. We will visit the crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches and deserted lagoons, such as Palmižana and Mlini, of the Pakleni Islands (Pakleni otoci), a gorgeous chain of wooded isles that stretches out immediately in front of the Hvar town.

  • 5Best day ever

Me and my friends had the best day on the boat your. Antonio and Luca were amazing, so friendly and the best tour guides. The weather took a turn for the worse but they still made it so enjoyable and kept us safe! Best day ever!!!

Had a really fun day. Our captain was a lot of fun and played some good music. The boat had drinks for us and had a full boat but didn’t feel overly crowded. We weren’t able to go to the caves due to the high tide and rough water which was a bummer. We went to Vis instead which was a nice stop but unfortunately a lot of shops were closed due to a holiday. However, the other stops/ beaches were great. Would still recommend this tour.

  • 5Amazing experience, would recommend!

We had the most incredible experience on this tour. Antonio and Luca were amazing!! They ensured that we were safe, educated us on all the sights/islands we were seeing, and were overall extremely positive which made the trip a highlight of our time in Croatia. We would 100% recommend this trip to people looking to go on an excursion from Hvar.

  • 4Good tour as long as you see the blue cave

Organisation was very good and the price was very reasonable. We were lucky to see the blue cave as seeing this is weather dependent. Make sure you find this out before leaving port although it can be closed at any time - it’s outside the control of the tour companies as you get in a separate small boat to enter the cave skippered by a specialist navigator. If you’re lucky enough to get in the cave, you’ll realise why. No queues at the blue cave in shoulder season but we heard about very long queues in high season (at least 1 hour and up to 2 hours). Other places visited as part of the tour were ok but not that remarkable. The speedboat journey to the blue cave was quite long, over an hour. No cover on the speedboat and the ride was quite choppy. Again, this part is outside the control of the tour company. Would recommend this tour as long as you get to see the blue cave.

  • 2Rip off & guide with no personality!

First both the blue & green caves were closed but we went anyway! Should have been told as we would have canceled! Guide did not ask our names or where we were from & had the personality of a fish! I do not recommend this tour! Said he was supposed to have snorkeling equipment but only had 2 masks! Only water to drink & no noodles or floatation devices!

  • 5Private tour with friends

We did a tour the whole day and we visited some islands around Hvar, the red rocks and other parts of Hvar. It was incredible despite the wind and the sea that day. Definitely I would recommend this tour.

About Hvar

Hvar is a long Adriatic island of lavender, vineyards and Venetian stonework, with a harbour town beneath a hilltop fortress.

Hvar town curves around a harbour on the island's south-west coast, with a broad stone square, a Renaissance loggia and a Venetian arsenal. The upper floor of the arsenal holds a theatre dating from 1612, among the oldest public theatres in Europe. Above the town, the fortress on the hill gives the best view over the red roofs and the Pakleni Islands offshore.
