5Trip extreme Skywalk
A very good trip, perfect information and a lot of fun The guides was exzellent and the care of nature where going like a red thread true the day Tanks
1Unacceptable treatment by staff ruined our family visit
Very disappointing experience at Skywalk Biokovo. Be careful with the staff at the top entrance. When we arrived at the top of the mountain, an employee with a radio immediately started shouting at us, accusing us of not paying for our tickets and saying that the police were waiting for us downstairs. We calmly showed him our valid tickets, but he continued arguing and claimed that they were not valid. He introduced himself as a ranger, said that he was the boss there, and mentioned the police, which was very intimidating and unnecessary. His aggressive behavior scared our children and completely ruined our family visit. We had paid for our tickets and had proof, but the way this situation was handled made us feel pressured and unfairly treated. The behavior of this employee was unacceptable for a tourist attraction that welcomes families from all over the world. I hope the management reviews this situation and provides proper training to staff on how to communicate with visitors respectfully and professionally.
5On the edge
Tuk tuk picked us up from our hotel. Q5 manicures later a stop off to admire views. 45 minutes later (1 hour in all( we arrived at the top. Had 30 minutes there. Plenty enough time. Walkway messes with your head buy you know you're safe. Amazing views. Wild horses in the csrpsrk. Small gift shop and portaloos. All you need. Wear something warm as itis chilly going up the mountain.
5A great afternoon with spectacular views
We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon with guide Petra and driver Marco up the mountain. Both were friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional. The views are fantastic and we had plenty of time at 3 stops for taking photographs. At the first stop we were offered traditional cherry brandy and beautifully soft figs. The Sky walk was fun and provided spectacular vertical views. We were also treated to a picnic of local Mountain Tea and Croatian Ravioli. These are not savoury pasta, but delicate pastries filled with almond paste and cherry liqueur. Both were absolutely delicious. Bottles of water are freely available throughout the afternoon. I especially appreciate that the company is very eco-friendly. The water is provided in glass bottles, the cherry brandy provided in traditional brandy glass vials, the tea poured into glass mugs and the ravioli were homemade. No plastic to be seen 😀. We had the company of wild horses, cattle and goats on our journey, as well as one of the lesser - seen insects, found by our driver. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon and I would highly recommend it.
5Skywalk
Really really good trip! Fun and informative guide (think ladies name was Ann Marie). Had a stop and enjoyed Figs and Cherry Brandy, and had a stop after the Skywalk to walk to a high view point (views were amazing). Once back to the coach, we then enjoyed a cup of tea and a homemade cookie before heading back down the mountain. The Skywalk itself was worth visiting, but the whole tour itself made it such a good day. Learnt a lot and enjoyed a beautiful part of Croatia. So much more than just a drive up, walk round the Skywalk and drive back. Fully recommended. 10/10
5Great trip
A really good trip which took you to the skywalk and also to a higher view point. The guide and driver did a great job and were full of enthusiasm for their history and culture. They told you the history of the people who used to live in the park and pointed out the different plants.

About Makarska
Makarska is a Dalmatian seaside town beneath the Biokovo mountains, with a pebble bay, a palm-lined promenade and a long riviera of beaches.
Makarska lies on a wide bay on the Dalmatian coast, sheltered by a wooded peninsula and backed by the grey limestone wall of the Biokovo mountains. The small old town centres on Kačić Square, where the church of St Mark stands, and a palm-lined promenade follows the harbour past cafés and fishing boats. The Franciscan monastery holds a museum of sea shells.
