5Very friendly and...
Very friendly and informative. There was only us 4 and other 2, so group was very small. Very smooth boat ride throughout the trip and fast otherwise way back.

5What a ride!
Thanks to Daniela and Sarah our guides and the wonderful,good looking Skipper whose name I forget, apologies. This was a wonderful ride, thanks to Daniela expertise as a marine biologist, we learnt a lot. Treasure caves to be conserved, please listen to our experts. I was apprehensive of water, I had no fear, no sickness and wanted more at the end - applies to my whole family. Many thanks again. One thing though which bothered us when we left. We were unsure whether to tip these three superb riders, please put a comment on this, as we were not sure of implications it might have posed.
5Must see when in the neighborhood!!
Must see when you are in Ferragudo! We even were so lucky to spot a few dolphins around our boat. Great Captain, excellent recommendations for restaurants (Sueste is the place to be for the best fish ever!!) The boat was great and fast if it needed to be. We were with a group of six friends and we had a great time!!
5I was unsure, so glad I went!
What an excellent experience! I almost decided not the go… it was raining very hard when we were supposed to leave, but the knowledgeable captains (Pedro and Joao) were amazing! They knew to wait it out, and the sun came out for a a couple hours and they watched the clouds to return us to port just as it started to rain again. Their little white dog, Pipoca (“popcorn”) was as fun to watch hopping around the boat as the majestic caves. I learned a lot about the landscape, how the caves are formed, as well as the local culture. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
1Cheating
Because of the wind that day, I spoke with them and we agreed that the tour would be cancelled. They told me many times that I would get a full refund and that it would take 7-10 days. But after more than 2 weeks, I never got the refund. Beware!

About Lagoa
Lagoa is a municipality on Portugal's Algarve coast, with golden sea cliffs, sea caves such as Benagil, small fishing coves and vineyards.
Lagoa lies east of Portimão and south of Silves in the central Algarve, with a town of whitewashed houses a short way inland and a coast of golden limestone cliffs. The coast holds some of the Algarve's best-known scenery: Benagil Cave, a sea cave with a round opening in its roof, can be seen by boat or kayak, and Praia da Marinha is a beach in a cove below rock arches and stacks.
