Itinerary
Our meeting point is Armação de Pêra Beach, a place that cherishes its fishing tradition and proudly upholds the spirit and customs of bygone times. The serene waters and protected coastline of this beach have turned it into a preferred destination for families. Moreover, it boasts of having the largest natural reef in Portugal.
Located near the luxury Vila Vita Parc resort, the Alporchinhos area features a magnificent golden sandy beach
Nestled in the eastern section of Lagoa, Tremoços beach is situated in a cozy, sheltered bay. With limited accessibility, this beach remains almost entirely untouched, giving it a wild and untamed allure.
This coastal beach is amongst the most unrefined and rugged, serving as a haven for the small fishing vessels in the vicinity.
Nestled deep in a valley, Praia do Barranco offers a serene and peaceful escape. Due to its challenging access, the beach is relatively uncrowded, making it an ideal spot for some peace and quiet. Divers are well acquainted with this beach as it is home to a wide array of marine species that seek refuge among the rocks on the seabed.
Get your camera ready! Praia da Marinha stands as one of the most iconic beaches in Portugal and is renowned by the Michelin Guide as one of the ten most stunning beaches in Europe, and among the top 100 in the world. Feast your eyes on the splendid cliffs and the crystalline waters. This legendary beach is an absolute must-visit when in the Algarve.
Barranquinho Beach is characterized by an uncommon typology, where the stretch of sand between the beach entrance and the sea spans nearly double the length of the entire shoreline.
Witness the stunning scenery of Malhada do Baraço Beach! Located in Lagoa, this beach is renowned for its exceptionally clear waters and can only be accessed via the sea. Revel in the mesmerizing beauty of this beach.
Albandeira Beach is renowned for its remarkable arch formation in the water. Although lesser-known when compared to neighboring beaches such as Praia da Marinha, Benagil, and Carvoeiro, Albandeira Beach remains one of the Algarve's best-kept secrets.
Our arrival at Praia da Corredoura revealed another beach that can only be accessed via the sea! Take in the splendor of this untamed beach, embraced by cliffs and featuring two sea caves situated at opposite ends.
Renowned worldwide, the Benagil cave stands as one of the most prominent sea caves, and many consider it to be among the most magnificent natural wonders globally. With millions of yearly visitors, it serves as the primary attraction of the Algarve.
Benagil Beach is a stunning cove nestled beneath towering cliffs and is well-known for its tranquil, crystal-clear waters. Visitors can take boat tours to the famed Benagil sea cave from this beach, adding to its allure as a must-visit destination in the Algarve.

5The Absolute Best
A perfect experience. Excellent driving by Renan and professional interpretation by Pina. We were so lucky as the seas were calm, and the sky was partly cloudy, which gave us a pleasant cool atmosphere. Loved the tour!
5Don’t miss out on a caves boat trip!
I’ve done the caves boat trip lots of times but this was one of the best - an excellent, informative and fun trip!
5Most AMAZING 1 hour tour
We booked a one hour boat tour of the caves, including the Banagil Cave and so far, it was the best experience we have had. Domi and Pina were our guide and boat driver, they were exceptional. The whole experience was perfect for all members of the family, including children. It was an incredible value for the price as well. Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
5Amazing Algarve boat tour experience!
Incredible views, safe, fun and totally worth it.
5Great boat trip in the Algarve caves
We had a great experience with Pina and Fabio as our captains and guides. They took us into many caves in which they described the interesting features. Pina took videos and photos for us, highlighting the most interesting angles. He also did a photo shoot in the most famous cave, Benagil. They also pointed out landmarks along the shore. I cannot imagine a better tour to see the caves of the Algarve!
5Experience the fun visiting Portugal caves

About Portimão
Portimão is a river port and fishing town on the western Algarve, with sardine grills by the quay and the sandy bays and red cliffs of Praia da Rocha.
Portimão sits at the mouth of the Arade River, and its long history of fishing and fish canning shaped the town. The old cannery now houses the town's museum, which records that trade, and the riverfront quay has rows of grills where sardines are cooked in the open air. Across the water is Ferragudo, a village of white houses with the Santa Catarina fortress at the river mouth.
Top-ranked sights in Portimão: Museu de Portimao, Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
