  Just WOW What a wonderful experience. We were very lucky to see so many dolphins. The caves were fantastic. The crew were fabulous.

  Humorous and friendly guides. Small group of 16 on a solid boat (Xplorer). Amazing views of the Algarve and the boat is small enough to navigate into the nooks and crannies to really admire the beauty. Absolutely loved the experience.

  Good trip. Staff were friendly and funny. We didn’t see any Dolphins but really enjoyed the caves and tour in general.

  The experience was really enjoyable, and well worth the money. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see any dolphins during our trip however the Bengali caves were amazing. The staff made the whole trip entertaining through out the trip.

• 5Just book it!

  Great trip with Gonzalez and Bea hosting us. Fun stories about the rock formations with accompanying music. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins (it appears the Orcas seen a few days before scared them away), but the trip was still lots of fun and the coastline and caves were beautiful. It gets a bit chilly further out (especially if you chose to take a dip at the beginning of the trip), so worth taking an extra layer!

• 4Great coastal boat trip

  After a slow start of multiple queues and some general confusion, we were guided to our boat which was a good step up from a rib and had about 15 of us on board (about 19 total seats in total). Our guides were great - enthusiastic, multilingual, kept checking up on everyone and gave interesting and humorous pointers to the various rock formations and caves we saw which were majestic. Didn't see any dolphins etc on the way back - apparently some orcas had scared them all off the previous day(!)

About Albufeira

Albufeira is a former fishing town on Portugal's Algarve coast, with whitewashed old streets, sandy coves below red cliffs and a long summer season.

Albufeira was a fishing town under Moorish rule, its name coming from the Arabic for a lagoon, and its old town still climbs a hill above the water in a tangle of whitewashed alleys and arches. A tunnel leads down to the Fishermen's Beach, where boats once landed their catch, and the clock tower and parish church stand in the centre.
