Experience the best of Bunbury
Bunbury is a port city in Western Australia's South West, known for wild dolphins, the Leschenault Estuary and wide surf and swimming beaches.

Bunbury lies about 156 km south of Perth, where the Leschenault Estuary meets the Indian Ocean on Koombana Bay. At Koombana Beach, wild bottlenose dolphins often swim close to shore, and a discovery centre there explains their lives. The city has a working port, a waterfront with cafés and a long run of ocean beaches, and the estuary is a calm place for paddling and birdwatching.
Inland, the hills of the Ferguson Valley and the jarrah forests near Wellington National Park lie within an hour of the city. Along Geographe Bay, Busselton has a timber jetty about 1.8 km long, one of the longest in the world, and the Margaret River wine and surf coast lies further south-west.
The South West is known for wine, dairy, seafood and fresh produce, and local cafés and restaurants work with what the region grows. Summers are warm and dry with afternoon sea breezes, winters are mild and wet, and whales pass offshore in spring on their migration.
