5Awesome Time!
Xenses is one of the best parks to visit in the Riviera Maya. It messes with all of your 5 senses. Highly recommend!
5Family vacation
It was a great experience i would definitely come back
5Totally Unique – Unlike Any Park We’ve Visited
We decided to visit Xenses Park after our very positive experiences at Xcaret Park and Xel-Há Park—and it did not disappoint. This park offers a totally unique experience, from walking through a pitch-black cave to flying through the air like a bird. The variety of activities, both above and below ground, is amazing. We especially loved the saltwater river—so relaxing—and the music-lit cavern, which felt absolutely magical. The “town” is incredible and really plays with your perception and senses in such a fun way. A great bonus is that you can repeat activities—we ended up doing the Bird Flight twice! Everything is set within lush gardens and fascinating cave systems, making the whole experience feel immersive and special. Truly astonishing—be prepared to be amazed!
3Unique experience(s)
Sooooo... we had fun (2 boys 14 and 16) BUT it was pretty expensive for such a short day ($65 pp, we did everything in about 2 hours and there were o lines). Bird flying was the BEST (we went twice in a row). Mudslide was the worst. The Town was just ok. The boys were not into selfies and we knew we weren't going to buy the photos, so we went through that part pretty fast.
4Good, but plan ahead
We went here as an add-on to xCaret Park, which made it quite inexpensive. Most people shouldn't try to fit both parks into a day, but I knew we wouldn't be doing all the things at xSenses (I have back issues). We arrived with our prepaid tickets, but had to line up for a wristband. All the other lines emptied while ours didn't move, and as far as we knew we had to stay where we were told to go. Bad signage 1 of many. Soon enough, a staffer noticed, moved us, and we were on our way. The Pinwheel has some of the worst signage I have ever seen in a public place. It's very easy to get lost going in and out of the lockers, and it's hard to tell what half the passages lead to. It's as if the signs were made by people who knew the park thoroughly, but didn't imagine that anyone would ever come in not knowing all that. Several of the small rooms on the Pinwheel are clearly designed for the extra-cost photo package, and perhaps if we had known that we might have considered the package. Some of those rooms were fun, others meh. The rotating tunnel was very good, and it was fun watching other first-timers react. We blundered around for a while then headed up the very weird street of the Town. With more time we might have hit the shops etc. there, but we carried on to the far end in search of the water and mud channels. Did I mention the signage? It doesn't seem to consider that you might not be doing ALL the activities. We couldn't find what we sought, and ended up going to the top of the waterslide just to be directed back down. And we had to line up for another place we didn't want just to ask to skip a line to get to our goal. The water float was relaxing, as advertised, Out watershoes and quick-dry shirts proved just right for this. The following mud float was interesting and relaxing, too. Neither slide does much to propel you; we had to use the provided rails. The mud was thinner than expected, but definitely mucky. The flood showers at the end rinsed it off nicely, and we carried on. Back to the Town, where we staggered down the hill and gradually developed coping strategies for a place where your eyes tell your brain impossible things. A zany and appeared as we walked. Back to the pinwheel, where it took three tries to find the lockers and two more tries to find the way out. The shuttle to xCaret arrived in reasonable time and whisked us over there neatly, even if it did drop us in a huge parking lot with - guess what? - signage designed for people who had been there 40 times. We found our way in. Summary - we saw maybe half of what's offered here; we felt we got value for money. But there's much room for improvement.
510 out of 10, half day well spent!
Great experience, exceeded my expectations, very unique, the only suggestion it would even better if they expanded, one of the most special experiences was the xensatorium (dark tunnel)!!, but overall everthing was really well made, interesting and fun.

Playa del Carmen is a relaxed Riviera Maya beach town with a buzzing pedestrian avenue, white sand, and cenotes, reefs and ruins close by.
