Highlights
Step back in time to the 1940s, when Nazi Germany occupied Oslo. On this walking tour, we’ll stroll along the city’s main streets—but with a different perspective. The war left many marks on Oslo, though they are not always easy to spot. Along the way, we’ll also visit several locations featured in the film Number 24. Haven’t seen it yet? I recommend watching it before the tour for an even deeper experience. The author’s booklet, Unretouched History, contains a map and WWII photographs from Oslo and makes a perfect souvenir. One copy is included with each booking. If your preferred tour date is marked as unavailable, please send a message with your desired tour time. We may still be lucky and find an opportunity to arrange a meeting. It is possible to combine WWII and Jewish tour.

About Oslo
Oslo is Norway's capital at the head of the Oslofjord, a green city of sculpture, Viking ships, polar-ship museums, an opera house and forests for skiing.
Oslo sits at the head of the Oslofjord, surrounded by forested hills and dotted with islands, and it is one of Europe's greenest capitals. The waterfront has the Opera House, a white marble building with a sloping roof that visitors can walk on, and Akershus Fortress, a medieval castle above the harbour. City Hall, a brick building with large murals, is where the Nobel Peace Prize is presented each December.
Top-ranked sights in Oslo: Akershus Castle (Akershus Slott), Oslo Royal Palace (Kongelige Slott), Oslo City Hall (Radhuset).
