Highlights
This is a self-guided ghost hunt where you'll be catching ten restless spirits in the old town of America's oldest city, with the app as your scanner. Every ghost is stuck on a mystery it left unfinished. Solve it and the ghost is caught. One of the ten is lying to you, and your job is to work out which one. The route takes you from Granada Street past the Plaza de la Constitucion, down St George Street and around Flagler College, in about 2 hours. You'll uncover stories like the senator lured onto a rainy road by a fake call about her daughter, the doctor who died of guilt, and the librarian who never came home. Each stop has its own puzzle: a magic-square blood test, a code hidden in a monologue, a shelf of antiques with one fake among them. Best after dark with your phone torch on. About 1.3 miles of walking, with unlimited breaks. Hints and 24/7 support if you get stuck. Perfect for Halloween or any night you're in the mood for creepy ghost stories.

Itinerary
You'll start on Granada Street, where the app hands you the case and you start your journey as a ghost hunter. Then you'll walk down King Street toward the Plaza de la Constitucion and catch your first two ghosts: a bride poisoned through her own wedding bouquet, and a doctor from the 1952 flu outbreak.
You'll work your way through the narrow streets around St George Street and catch four ghosts. You'll pull a code out of an actor's final monologue, rebuild a senator's evidence timeline, spot the extra pupil in a teacher's class registers, and find the fakes in an antique shop.
You'll stop by the Cathedral Basilica on the plaza and use a poster to find the one book on the shelf that opens a locked closet. Something has been pounding inside it since the night the librarian disappeared.
You'll head down Valencia Street, beside the copper dome of the Memorial Presbyterian Church, and learn the sttory of a burned down hotel.
You'll walk along King Street, past the old Hotel Ponce de Leon, and hear about a priest who vanished after confronting a cult. Back on Granada Street you'll line up the ten clues your ghosts gave you and name the Evil One who has been lying all night.

About St Augustine
St Augustine is a Florida town on the Atlantic coast, founded by the Spanish in 1565, with a coquina fort, narrow streets and Victorian-era hotels.
St Augustine was founded by the Spanish in 1565 and is the oldest continuously occupied European-founded settlement in the continental United States. The Castillo de San Marcos, a fort of pale coquina shell stone built by the Spanish between 1672 and 1695, guards the waterfront. The Spanish Quarter, pedestrian St George Street and the cathedral basilica sit within a few blocks, and the Bridge of Lions crosses to Anastasia Island.
