  • 5Wine tasting - Family Group of 8

We had a lovely half day tour. Cheese tasting and wine pairing was lovely and interesting. We went to 3 wineries all up, all new to us. We all loved the experience and can highly recommend it. We had 1 non drinker in the group and he still had to pay full price, which I thought was a bit of a shame.

  • 5Afternoon to remember

Didn’t really know what to expect as we had never done something like this before. Callum our driver made us feel welcome and right at home from the get go. We visited 3 winery’s during our tour, each one bringing something to everyone’s taste. The wine and cheese pairing really opened our eyes as to how the flavours really come to life when paired. We definitely recommend this experience, it’s one we’ll remember

  • 5Fun afternoon with great company and great wine!

Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting afternoon tour with Two Fat Blokes. Pick up from our accommodation was on time and the other guests were a lot of fun. We enjoyed the wine and cheese pairings and also visited Tinkler and Hungerford Wineries. Hosts at the wineries were very informative and we loved learning about the history and process involved in making beautiful wines. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

About Hunter Valley

The Hunter Valley is a New South Wales wine region of vineyards, horse studs and low ranges, a couple of hours' drive north of Sydney.

The valley follows the Hunter River inland from Newcastle, with the main wine district around Pokolbin and the town of Cessnock at its gateway. Vines have grown here since the 1820s, which makes it one of Australia's oldest wine regions, and semillon whites and shiraz reds are its best-known bottles. Many cellar doors sit among gum trees and lawns, with long views across the rows.
