Itinerary
Meet your Private Licensed Tour guide directly inside the arrival hall of your cruise ship disembarkation terminal. Our guide will have and show the sign board of your name. Board your private air-conditioned vehicle and relax on the 2- to 2.5-hour drive to Bangkok. (Pickup time is flexible depending on your ship's docking schedule; please verify your cruise departure time when selecting your start time.)
Step into Thailand's most famous landmark, built in 1782 as the royal residence for the Kings of Siam. Marvel at the intricate Thai architecture, vivid murals, and gold-leaf spires. Pay respects inside the main chapel housing the sacred Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), revered as the country's palladium.
Continue to Wat Pho is one of the famous royal temples, the highlight are the most beautiful reclining Buddha image and the traditional Thai massage. Enjoy a break for an optional authentic Thai cuisine at a local restaurant (not include). Our guide can recommend the restaurant for you. Optional Addition: Board a traditional private long-tail boat (1 - 1.5 hours) to glide through the historic canals (khlongs) of Thonburi (boat fees: 1,200–1,500 THB / boat depending on duration/route). Experience life on the water and gain a fresh perspective of old Bangkok.
Cross or travel along the Chao Phraya River to visit the iconic Wat Arun, standing majestic along the riverbank. Admire the intricate central pagoda (prang) adorned with colorful porcelain pieces and seashells.
