About Cozumel
Cozumel is a flat, reef-ringed island off Mexico's Yucatán coast, famed for diving, Maya ruins and calm turquoise water on its sheltered west side.
Cozumel lies about twenty kilometres off the Yucatán coast, a short ferry ride from Playa del Carmen.
