Itinerary
Your driver will be waiting at your chosen pickup location in Deauville with a sign bearing your name — whether at your hotel lobby, train station or agreed meeting point. Step into your private vehicle and depart for the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy located 1 hour approx.
The only German coastal gun battery in Normandy where the original 155mm weapons are still in place, still pointing toward the English Channel exactly as they were positioned on the morning of June 6, 1944. Every other D-Day gun battery has empty bunkers. Here you walk up to the actual weapons that fired on the Allied fleet during the landing. Your guide (if option selected) explains why this battery, above all others, survived the war with its guns intact. Free entry. Open year-round.
Omaha Beach is one of the main D-Day landing sites, where American forces faced fierce resistance on June 6, 1944. Today, it is a wide, peaceful shoreline that stands as a powerful symbol of sacrifice and courage.
Overlooking Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery honors more than 9,000 American soldiers who lost their lives during the Normandy campaign. Its rows of white crosses and Stars of David create a moving tribute to those who fought for freedom.
Optional and at customer's discretion A relaxed break near the beaches at a location recommended by your driver or guide (if option selected). Choose your own restaurant, café or local boulangerie — every budget and dietary preference is catered for. Your driver will recommend the best local options on the day.
Pointe du Hoc is a dramatic clifftop site between Utah and Omaha Beaches, where U.S. Army Rangers scaled the cliffs on D-Day to neutralize German artillery. Today, the landscape remains marked by bomb craters, bunkers, and memorials overlooking the English Channel.
At the end of an extraordinary day on the D-Day landing beaches, your driver brings you back to your chosen drop-off location in Deauville comfortably and on time. Your return at the agreed time is guaranteed.

About Deauville
Deauville is a smart Normandy seaside resort on the Côte Fleurie, with a broad sandy beach, a boardwalk, racecourses and a September film festival.
Deauville was laid out in the 1860s as a seaside resort for Parisians, and it has kept its Belle Époque polish. The Planches, a long boardwalk beside the beach, is lined with striped bathing cabins that carry the names of film stars and directors, and behind it stand half-timbered villas, the casino and grand hotels. Coco Chanel opened a boutique here in 1913.
Top-ranked sights in Deauville: Hippodrome de Deauville-La Touques, Villa Strassburger, Casino Barrière de Deauville.
