1. At 8.30am, you will be picked up in the hotel lobby of your centrally located Lijiang hotel. Then you will take 1-hour car ride to the First Bent of The Yangtze River where you will view the Yangtze River makes a huge turn forward.

2. Then, you will take 2-hour car ride to Tiger Leaping Gorge. Tiger Leaping Gorge is a well-known section of the Yangtze River, which is divided into 3 parts including upper, middle, lower part. You will get to the upper part of the Tiger Leaping Gorge, where you will walk down to the river front to view the imposing Yangtze river. Chinese lunch is included at local restaurant. Later, you will be transferred back to your Lijiang hotel where the day tour concludes.

About Lijiang

Lijiang is a Naxi town in north-west Yunnan, known for its canal-threaded old town and the snow peaks of Jade Dragon Mountain behind it.

The old town of Lijiang, a World Heritage Site, is a maze of cobbled lanes, stone bridges and clear canals, lined with tile-roofed wooden houses built by the Naxi people. Sifang Street is its busy square, the Mu family mansion recalls the Naxi chieftains who once ruled here, and the Black Dragon Pool park frames Jade Dragon Mountain in its still water. The Naxi Dongba script, a pictographic writing used by priests, appears on signs and souvenirs.
