An excellent evening. A great guide. I went with my son and this was an excellent evening together. I recommend this trip even for people with limited kayaking experience

I booked this kayaking tour the evening before arriving in Poreč, wanting to start our trip with something memorable, and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire 11-night Croatia trip. I can't swim, so I was genuinely nervous going in. But Vedran gave us such clear, reassuring instructions before we set off that I felt safe the whole time. Even my parents, both in their 60s and trying kayaking for the very first time, ended up loving every minute of it. Partway through, we stopped at a quiet beach for a swim break, complete with beer and drinks. That's when Vedran taught me how to float on my back with a life jacket — my first time ever doing that. It was such a small moment, but it made me so happy that I seriously considered booking another round right then and there. If you're visiting Poreč, this sunset kayak tour is an absolute must. Now that I'm back home in Korea, I still find myself missing that evening on the water. If I ever go back to Croatia, it won't be for Plitvice — it'll be for this kayaking trip in Poreč.

A fun and relaxing way to enjoy the Istrian coast. With a great guide. Caters for all levels and as experienced paddlers we really enjoyed ourselves.

An absolutely brilliant trip! Vedran was a wonderful guide, really knowledgable and really friendly. We had a brilliant time. The sunset was amazing and our route was perfectly planned to see it at its best. There was also a lovely little swim spot stop. Would recommend !
5Fanastic
I highly recommend this kayaking tour. Ilija was a perfect guide...calm, friendly and attentive, as well as relaxed enough to let us enjoy the trip at our own speed. The kayaks were really stable and easy to manage. Don't think about it - just do this trip as it's the perfect way to escape the tourist crowd and see the coast line at its natural best.

About Poreč
Poreč is a small Adriatic port town on Istria's west coast, famous for its sixth-century Euphrasian Basilica, Byzantine mosaics and Roman street plan.
Poreč lies on a peninsula on the western coast of Istria, in Croatia, and its old town still follows the grid of the Roman settlement, with the Decumanus as its main street. The Euphrasian Basilica, built in the sixth century, is a World Heritage site; its apse is covered with Byzantine mosaics of gold and colour. Remains of the Temple of Neptune and the Marafor forum survive, and Venetian-era houses line the lanes.
