5Polynesian experience
Great experience! Got a sense of the other parts of the world and how their cultures and lifestyle are different than ours. Lotta different exhibits, demonstrations, interaction, and presentations. Highly recommended.. Value for the experience was good.
4Recommend to do in earlier days of trip, before any luaus
I will preface this by saying that my husband and I went to the Polynesian Cultural Center the day after attending the Mauka Warrior Luau. I think I was tired out from that and so couldn’t give PCC the full attention/energy it may have deserved. We definitely didn’t try to do everything and weren’t particularly interested in any village or activities in particular, just kind of planned things as we were there. We also were not there as part of any tour group. I will say that in hindsight it was a bit much to do two Polynesian cultural activities plus buffets two days in a row. Would recommend closing out your trip with a luau but this is a good way to get a bit more background maybe a bit earlier on in your stay. Buffet was fine, again with having buffets two days in a row I didn’t have the appetite I may have otherwise but overall it was well-organized, the student workers were very attentive throughout. Definitely enjoyed the floating dancing show Huki. We did not do the luau/Ha breath of life so cannot comment on that.

About Oahu
Oahu pairs Waikiki's famous beach and Honolulu's city life with volcanic craters, rainforest valleys and the legendary surf of its North Shore.
Waikiki's crescent of sand, backed by hotels and the volcanic crater of Diamond Head, is the island's classic image, and the hike to the crater rim gives sweeping views. Downtown Honolulu holds ʻIolani Palace, home of Hawaiʻi's last monarchs, and the memorials at Pearl Harbor, including the USS Arizona Memorial, recall the attack of 1941.
Top-ranked sights in Oahu: Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, Dole Plantation.
